Conor McGregor has confirmed he will be appearing alongside both Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder for the ‘Day of Reckoning’ blockbuster card in Saudi Arabia.
McGregor has not fought in 2021 since breaking his foot in their trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier.
He originally saw UFC 296 as his return date to fight Michael Chandler, but that match has now been pushed back due to plans for UFC 300.
However, McGregor is in no immediate hurry to get back into the octagon, as his focus is primarily on heavyweight boxing.

The Irishman was in Riyadh to watch Tyson Fury’s crossover bout with Francis Ngannou in October.
McGregor was sitting at ringside and watched Ngannou put Fury on the canvas before losing on the judges’ scorecards.
And now he is set to take part in another night of heavyweight boxing in Saudi Arabia this evening.
The 35-year-old announced on social media that he would be flying to Riyadh to witness the Day of Reckoning bill in person.
“See you there (President of the General Authority for Entertainment Turki AlAlshaikh)!” McGregor posted on X.
“Thank you for inviting me to the Kingdom once again, I can’t wait!
“McGregor has taken a keen interest in the heavyweight boxing division and has expressed his admiration for the fighters after watching Fury and Ngannou.
He said: “Heavyweight boxing is exciting, especially from ringside.

“I’ve seen two ringside so far, Anthony Joshua against the Finn and now I’ve seen Fury.
“Some of the best fights in the boxing heavyweight division right now, it’s on fire right now. Add Usyk to it, it’ll be a tough challenge for Fury as well, but add Ngannou to it too.
“I wish him all the best, fair play to him, it’s a crazy game and I’m going to the gym because Mac Daddy is coming home.”
