“This is Budweiser Zero. I always have a cooler full in my car. Not sure why they cut that detail out 🙂,” Craig replied about drinking a non-alcoholic beverage on screen.
The offscreen clarification comes after Craig raised eyebrows for his comments about his future with Paige during the first episode. While talking to Paige about how he didn’t mind living together or taking their time before getting engaged, Craig admitted that he wouldn’t be “nervous” if they broke up.
“It’s not the end of the world if we don’t live together,” Craig said, adding that he knows he’s “not ready” to live in Charleston full-time. “Now, I believe I have become a stable person with or without you. I know you got me there, but I really feel stable in myself to the point that, like, I can let you go. I’d be really sad, but I wouldn’t be nervous if it made sense.”
Later in the episode, Craig admitted to the camera that he sometimes wished he and Paige were “on the same timeline” when it came to their future.
“I’m so grateful that I have someone I get along with and love,” he shared in a confessional. “The important thing is that I am happy and she supports me. Technically, as long as we don’t have kids, it doesn’t matter where we live.”
