Luke Littler has already secured the biggest payday of his young life, but if his dream World Darts Championship run continues, the 16-year-old sensation could be in line for the life-changing figure.
Littler has become an overnight sensation due to his exploits at Alexandra Palace this month.
The 16-year-old scored a tournament-high 106 points in his first-round win over Christian Kist and defeated UK Open champion Andrew Gilding 24 hours later.
His stormy arrival on the professional darts scene has captured the imagination of sports fans across the UK.

He has been heavily backed by the bookmakers and the 16-year-old is sensationally seen as the outright winner as fourth favorite at 9/1.
But no matter what happens in his third-round match on Wednesday, the 16-year-old has already secured himself a big payout.
Since the 2019 World Darts Championship, the total prize money for the tournament has been set at £2.5 million.
That money is divided for each round and those eliminated in the first round receive £7,500.
The losers of the second round get double with £15,000.
Littler is already guaranteed to take home £25,000 by reaching the third round and this will increase significantly in the next stages.
A win over Canada’s Matt Campbell would guarantee Littler at least £35,000.
After that the money gets even bigger, with quarter-finalists earning £50,000 and semi-finalists earning double that.

If Littler reaches the final, he will receive a lucrative prize of £200,000 as tournament runner-up.
And Littler will take home a whopping £500,000 if he wins the whole thing.
Littler has already made a good living living on the PDC Development Tour, where he has won just over £30,000 by winning five different events as well as the World Youth Championships in November.

But the Warrington-born darts ace has a way of catching the game’s richest stars.
Michael van Gerwen, Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, Gary Anderson and Peter Wright are among the many players who consider themselves multi-millionaires.
Littler will get his first real taste of the riches of the game next year after earning his PDC Tour card for the 2024-25 season.
