Percy Jackson and the Olympians The book series is officially being adapted into a television show for Disney+.
Writer Rick Riordan announced in a video via his website in May 2020, “Hey Percy Jackson fans, for the past decade, you’ve worked hard to champion a faithful on-screen adaptation of Percy Jackson’s world Is.” It was suggested that this would be a good series for Disney+. We couldn’t agree more!”
The five-book series – published between 2005 and 2009 – introduced fans to a 12-year-old demigod named Percy Jackson, who soon discovers he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon. The novels were previously adapted into a two-film series starring Logan Lerman As Percy, Brandon T. Jackson As Grover Underwood and Alexandra Daddario As Annabeth Chase.
Over the years, the film adaptation has been widely criticized by fans of the book series and Rick himself. However, he pointed out Guardian In October 2020, he and his wife, becky riordan“Fans owe it to them to try one more time” for the screen adaptation.
