Veteran singer Ozzy Osbourne has dismissed death rumors online, saying, ‘I’m not dead.’ – Gudstory

Several reports surfaced online stating that Ozzy is no more, causing panic among his fans.

During the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy responded to the fake news, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

He said that he came across an in-memoriam video on YouTube and was surprised to see himself in it.

He said, “I wore it and I died!” Ozzy then joked, “I’m not dead,” referencing Monty Python and the Holy Grail. “I’m not really dead… just a small flesh wound.”

The 75-year-old expressed his disapproval of reports like the video above, which claim celebrities are “dead-ish”, meaning close to death after experiencing health problems.

However, his son Jack saw a silver lining in the situation: “What’s been really cool about the podcast is I’ve noticed that whenever somebody writes in a bullshit newspaper or whatever, ‘Oh, Ozzy’s about to die.’ Is on the verge’ or whatever and they pat him down like he’s going to a doctor’s appointment, if you read the comments, everyone’s like, ‘This is bullshit. You should listen to him on the podcast. He’s fine. These people are liars. Stop writing fake news.

Ozzy continued, “I’m not dead. I’m not going anywhere and I’m going to do a few more shows before it’s over.”

Ozzy has been battling health problems for some time. In 2020, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He suffered neck and back injuries after a fall in 2019. He underwent various surgeries and announced on a podcast last September that his latest surgery would be his last, because he “can’t do it anymore.”
