According to the brand’s website, the couple named their tequila Pantalones after the Spanish word for pants, which can also mean “guts” in Spanish. “Pantalones Tequila is about having the courage to take the next step, having fun and not taking things too seriously. “We all wear our pants one leg at a time, and like pants, our tequila is for everyone,” the company description says.

McConaughey and Alves married in 2012 and have three children, Levi, 15, Vida, 13, and Livingston, 10. Although their children are too young to enjoy their Pantalones Organic Tequila, they have inherited their parents’ passion for cooking.

Material

• 1½ ounces Pant Organic Blanco Tequila
• ½ ounce lemon juice
• 2 ounces pineapple juice
• 2 fresh jalapeño slices
• ¼ ounce agave nectar
• ½ pineapple wedge and sea salt for garnish

Instruction

1. Combine Pantalones Blanco tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, 1 to 2 jalapeño slices and agave nectar in a shaker. Shake vigorously as if there were ants in your pants. Once your shoulder is dislocated, slowly pour the sea salt over the ice into a glass. Don’t forget to garnish your cocktail with an exotic pink pineapple and a jalapeño pepper handpicked from Mexico.
