Ronnie O’Sullivan’s girlfriend Laila Rouass has told Ali Carter to ‘keep your mouth shut and be a good boy’ amid a feud between the two snooker stars.
Earlier this month, O’Sullivan defeated Carter in the final of the Masters.
But Rockett launched a scathing attack on his rival after he was accused of ‘spitting all over the floor’ at Alexandra Palace.
O’Sullivan told Carter to ‘get his f*cking life together’ and snooker bosses are under investigation for his X-rated rant.

And Rouas has now hit out, saying Carter should ‘keep her mouth shut’ while taking her boyfriend’s side.
He said, “Ali Carter said four or five years ago that Ronnie didn’t have a chance of winning another world championship. What did he do and what did he do? He went and won.”
“She didn’t age well, did Ali Carter?
“Now shut your mouth and be a good boy. Concentrate on your snooker.”
O’Sullivan was clearly distressed by Carter’s scathing comments, having battled illness during his Masters triumph.
The 48-year-old said: “[Carter] His bullshit life needs to be sorted out.
“I wouldn’t walk around this anymore, tip-toeing on eggshells around a guy like that. He’s a nightmare.
“Playing snooker against someone like that is a nightmare.
“He’s not a good person. The atmosphere he creates around the table is not good.”
“I’ve said my thing, I don’t say anything. I’ve said it now, it’s done. You know how he is, everyone knows how he is.
“He has a problem. Why does he have a problem with me? I don’t have a problem.”
“I don’t care, move some balls. I don’t say anything about any of these snooker players, about any of them.
“The more he brings it up, the more I punish him every time.
“He’s just digging his own grave. I don’t hold any grudges. That’s it, I’ve made my point.”
Carter then responded, saying: “Yeah, Ronnie has a right to his opinion about me.

“I just said what it is and how it was and I talk facts.”
He questioned O’Sullivan’s state of mind, saying, “What is he angry about? No. Yes, I don’t care what he says.”
“He says different things on different days, I don’t even think he knows what’s going to come out of his mouth at certain times.
“I actually feel a bit sorry for him, I don’t think he’s that good mentally.
“We move forward and we will move forward again this week.”

Snooker chiefs at WST are taking note of O’Sullivan’s comments.
And Mark Williams has admitted he is ‘tired’ of the controversies surrounding the legendary player.
“It’s a shame,” he said. “I am tired of seeing things in the newspapers. I just wish everyone could get together, sit in a room and hash out their differences behind closed doors and see if it can be resolved.
“There’s no point having back and forth in the press and bad press all the time, it’s really not good for the game.
“I think it will peak soon, I don’t know what will happen. Who knows?”
