We became aware of a bug a week or two ago that allows users to update and manipulate any words and phrases on a post page hyperlink leading back to Reddit. We are working with appropriate partners on solutions. For context, we found that Google will index URLs that work both on and off the platform, so if someone shared a link to one of those arbitrary URLs on another platform, Google will crawl it. And the index will, even if we don’t “officially” support it.
