Braving the early morning cold on Thursday, three days after the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, devotees continued arriving at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya for darshan of Ram Lalla.

As the huge crowd of devotees continues to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, said that an appeal was made to have darshan patiently and the devotees are following it.

“This is the fourth day since the consecration of Ramlala. Darshan has been open for devotees since January 22. There was a huge crowd on the first two days. Now people are taking darshan patiently. An appeal was made to take darshan patiently, peacefully and Devotees are following it,” he told ANI.

IG Range Ayodhya Praveen Kumar explained in detail about the arrangements made for effective crowd management.

“Today is the festival of Paush Purnima in which people first take the holy bath. People are coming on foot from the surrounding areas. There are two queues of one kilometer long. Any goods will have to be kept at the Public Facility Center (PFC). There Baggage scanners have been installed. There is also a physical screening centre.”

IG Range Ayodhya Praveen Kumar highlighted the measures taken to ensure the safety of the devotees.

“The public transport system has been improved for safe travel of outsiders. We are continuously assuring safety. The devotees coming are taking darshan with discipline. There is enthusiasm among the people but there is no disorder. The administration, and “Police personnel are doing good work on the orders of Honorable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.”

IG Range Ayodhya, Praveen Kumar appealed to the people to reduce their luggage for a better experience at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“We appeal to people to bring less luggage to save time.”

The consecration of Ramlala was held at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Monday. The statue of Ram Lalla was unveiled at the Pran Pratistha ceremony in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who led the ceremony.

The event was attended by approximately 8,000 invitees including 1,500-1,600 distinguished guests.

‘Ram Nagari’ Ayodhya also attracted global attention, where earthen lamps were lit on a large scale and firecrackers were burst in various parts of the city, dazzling the sky at night.
