“If you have numbers you have to meet, it wasn’t the best fighter, it was like who could meet certain criteria.

“There will be a group of people who will be murdered.”

Discussing a hypothetical situation, he added: “There’s going to be a certain percentage of people out there because they’re awesome and they have to hire a certain percentage of people to do these DEIs.” [diversity, equity, and inclusion] Standard.

“Imagine if the UK had a representative who had to fight Francis Ngannou, you would have had a person who had to come forward and fight that guy and say, ‘Okay, the right move is to send a non-binary woman because They should not be represented in the UFC.

Rogan has often been outspoken.

But trans supporters on Twitter have expressed their anger over his comments and hit out at the American for his views on the topic.

One user said, “He also thinks it’s physically impossible for humans to build pyramids… so… do whatever you want with that information.”

Another said: “Amazing we have an unfair advantage and we should compete with men but at the same time we are not strong enough and will die.”

Another user said: “These idiots are unsure what will win, their misogyny or their transphobia, I swear.”

A fourth said, “That guy is completely full of bullshit and his show completely sucks.”

A fifth said: “Wait people actually listen to her opinions instead of watching her podcast because you want to see guests.”

And another mocked the UFC by saying: “Yeah, imagine the guys in the UFC are on hormones.”

This is not the first time Rogan has courted controversy on his podcast.

He was previously criticized for comments he made about transgender fighter Alanna McLaughlin after she won her professional MMA debut in 2021.

Rogan previously said she was a ‘f*****g man’.

But then he made a U-turn and insisted he had no problem, saying: “Well, the trans MMA thing was big. But it was not so, it was not acceptable.

“These are people who don’t want any kind of criticism about trans people.

“And I was like, ‘Look, I don’t have a problem with trans people, well, I have a problem with someone who pretends they’re a biological woman and is fighting women.’
