US supermodel Gigi Hadid has spoken out about the evil Hamas terror attacks on Israel saying her thoughts are with all who have been affected by the “unjustifiable tragedy”.

The 28-year-old, who is of Palestinian heritage, took to Instagram to condemn the horrific attacks which have left more than 1000 people dead, making it the deadliest militant assault in the country’s history.

Hadid said she had a “deep empathy and heartbreak” for the Palestinian people but felt a “responsibility” to reassure her Jewish friends she wished no harm upon them.

She continued by saying the “terrorising of innocent people” was not OK and not in line with the Free Palestine movement.

“My thoughts are with all those affected by this unjustifiable tragedy and every day that innocent lives are taken by this conflict – too many of which are children,” she wrote.

“I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it’s a responsibility I hold daily.

“I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have before: While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person

“The terrorising of innocent people is not in alignment with & does not do any good for the ‘Free Palestine’ movement.”

Hadid sent condolences to her Palestinian and Jewish friends and family as the attacks continued on Wednesday with Hamas now targeting pregnant women and babies.

“If you are hurting as I share my condolences today with my loved ones, both Palestinian and Jewish, I’m sending you my love and strength – whoever and wherever you are,” she wrote.

“There are a lot of complex, personal and valid feelings, but every human deserves basic rights, treatment and security; no matter their nationality, religion, ethnicity or where they were born.

“I know my words will never be enough or heal the deep wounds of so many, but I pray for the safety of innocent lives, always.”

Hadid and her younger sister Bella, whose 74-year-old father Mohamed was born in Nazareth, Israel, have always been vocal in showing their support for the Palestinian cause.

Mohamed was born in November 1948, four months after his city was captured by Israeli forces, forcing his family to find refuge in Syria before ultimately relocating to Washington DC.

He shares Gigi, Bella, 27 and son Anwar, 24, with ex-wife, Dutch former model, Yolanda Hadid.

Gigi’s post comes as Israel pressed ahead with a fierce military offensive in the Gaza Strip, killing as many as 11 senior Hamas terrorist military figures in retaliation for artillery and mortar that had been lobbed into Israel from Palestinian areas.

The model’s stance also follows Israeli actress Gal Gadot’s public heartbreak over the attacks on her home country.

The Wonder Woman star who previously said the “world must not sit on the fence” over the war in Israel and Palestine, urged her followers to donate funds for those affected by the weekend’s attacks.

The 38-year-old also slammed people reacting to the atrocities with “justification, not empathy”.
