“@sundarpichai, CEO of my former employer Google, has posted twice about events in Palestine in the last week. The first to express concern for Israeli workers in Google Israel offices. The second to highlight anti-Semitism. But Not a word about Palestinians or Palestinian Google workers,” a user named Ariel Koren posted on Twitter, responding to Sundar Pichai’s post against anti-Semitism.
“Sundar said nothing when thousands of employees called #NoTechforApartheid and demanded Google to stop building AI for the Israeli military. In a week the army has killed more than 2,000 Gazans and ordered 1 million to flee or face death. Yet you still say nothing @sundarpichai,” said Ariel Koren.
“The Israeli army cut off food, water, aid, leaving Palestinians with nowhere to go. Left to die without electricity or medical care. This is genocide. You are supporting this by your silence (and your #ProjectNimbus contract). This moral degradation is your legacy, @SundarPichai,” he added in the thread.
