England have decided not to use Baden-Baden as their base after qualifying for Euro 2024 in Germany, reports claim.

The Three Lions booked their place in the prestigious tournament by beating Italy 3-1 on Tuesday night, with a Harry Kane double and Marcus Rashford also on target.

England will travel to Germany next summer hoping to erase what happened in their last tournament in Germany.

In 2006, the Three Lions went into the World Cup hoping to reign supreme after a strong qualifying campaign under manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.

England also had a strong squad, featuring A-listers like Wayne Rooney, David Beckham, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand and countless others as they looked to go all the way.

However, the WAGS who traveled to support their loved ones were making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The usually quiet town of Baden-Baden was thrust into the spotlight as the likes of Victoria Beckham, Coleen Rooney and Cheryl Tweedy stayed there.

There were stories of WAGS dancing drunk on tables during their stay in Germany, as well as being racked up huge hotel bills.

Steven Gerrard’s future wife Alex Curran apparently racked up £25,000 in hotel bills with 60 bottles of champagne on her tab.

Model Abbey Clancy recently started dating striker Peter Crouch.

But two years ago Clancy was sent home after pictures of him taking drugs emerged.

Frank Lampard’s former girlfriend, Elaine Rivas, was also the subject of newspaper headlines.

It was claimed that Rivas had lost his temper at airport staff while trying to carry six items of carry-on luggage onto a flight to Germany.

WAGS were often seen shopping in the city, enjoying luxury items, while their teammates prepared for the football.

A photographer named Andrew Stenning previously told Four Four Two about the WAGS’ daily routine: “Morning coffee or maybe a run into town, shopping, back to the hotel, then on to the p**.

“It was perfect. They didn’t get any rest, so we didn’t get it either.

“Our rest days were when we were sent to cover England matches.”

A journalist went undercover to get closer to WAGES.

However, when she became nervous, she was advised that if some of the other girls found out the truth they would ‘tear out your hair extensions’.

Daily Mirror journalist Andy Lines also told FFT that he encountered one of the WAGs in a hotel.

“Everyone was having fun and singing,” he recalled.

“The girlfriend of one of the players objected to me for some reason and yelled across the bar, ‘Why were you born so ugly?’

“As security escorted me out of the bar, about 30 WAGs waved me goodbye and sang ‘Cheerio, Cheerio, Cheerio’.

“But we arrived four or five days before the WAGs and I was already friends with the owner.

“I took out my mobile, called her and within a minute I was being wheeled back in to the cheers of my colleagues.”

Ultimately England faced a nightmare campaign.

They faced tough competition from a group that also included Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago and Sweden.

The Three Lions then defeated Ecuador in the round of 16, with David Beckham scoring the only goal of the game.

But Portugal ended England’s hopes of World Cup glory in a penalty shootout after Wayne Rooney looked tempted to stamp on Ricardo Carvalho.

Now, according to The Sun, England will not let history repeat itself.

They will not live in Baden-Baden and will instead look for other accommodation.

However, one thing is certain. For the first time in many years, England are looking like the real deal.

Their performance against Italy on Tuesday night was excellent and they won a match they had lost in previous years.

It remains to be seen whether England can go all the way and reign supreme, and end 58 years of injury by the time the tournament begins.
