In view of increasing air pollution in the National Capital Region, Delhi Metro Corporation has introduced 20 additional train trips for the convenience of daily commuters.

The move aims to encourage people in Delhi and its surrounding areas like Noida, Ghaziabad and others to abandon their private transport and opt for public transport.

Even before the addition of 20 trips, Delhi Metro was already operating 40 additional trips on weekdays since the implementation of the GRAP-II phase from October 25.
