Seven children were injured when a school van collided with another vehicle in southwest Delhi’s Sadar Bazaar Road area on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to ANI report, police station Delhi Cantt received a PCR call at 1.18 pm on Tuesday about an accident involving a van carrying students.
Officials said the accident occurred when the van collided with another vehicle in front of the Radha Krishna temple.
Six to seven students aged between 6 and 7 years were injured in the accident and were taken to Cantt. Hospital for first aid. Police said most of the students were later taken to other hospitals by their parents.
The driver of the van, identified as Balveer, was referred to DDU Hospital for treatment. Naveen, the driver of the other vehicle, has been caught by the police.
At present the injured students are undergoing treatment and their condition is stable. Police said that legal action will be taken after investigation.
