China’s ambassador to Australia has criticized Australian politicians visiting Taiwan, saying they are being used by separatists on the self-ruled island.
Ambassador Xiao Qian was making the comments in Sydney on Thursday, following an Australian parliamentary delegation visit to Taiwan this week and as the former prime minister plans to deliver a speech in Taipei next month.
