Our Yorkshire Farm stars Amanda and Clive Owen have joined forces once again to tackle a huge renovation project away from Ravenseat Farm.

The pair, who’d been married since 2000 and share nine children, announced their split back in June 2022 and subsequently Channel 5 decided to shelve the hit series.

Clive still made a return to screens, however, alongside teenage son Reuben as the duo kept fans up to date with farming life from the Dales in the spin-off series, Beyond the Yorkshire Farm.

However, while Reuben has made sporadic appearances on the likes of Harvest on the Farm, the Owens have stayed relatively quiet when it comes to on-screen projects.

Added with the news that Amanda unexplainedly shut Ravenseat’s doors to members of the public earlier this year and it’s safe to say fans have missed the Owens.

But one thing that has been keeping the Owens busy despite their lack of screen time is the work needed to restore iconic Yorkshire property Anty Johns back to its former glory.

Amanda and Clive purchased the property – which comes complete with a collapsed roof and hasn’t been lived in for decades – when they were married.

Reuben confirmed last month that he had started lending a helping hand to mum Amanda to breathe new life into Anty Johns and now, his dad Clive is also getting in on the action.

The teenage farmer shared an update from Anty Johns alongside his mum, dad and friends as fans got to see firsthand what the Owens are doing to the property.

Alongside a collage of photos from the property, Reuben penned: “Me and Tom took the day of the diggers to give Mum and dad a hand taking the roof off Anty Johns.

“One amazing view from the scaffolding. @yorkshireshepherdess @tommy.mcwhirter,” he signed off, confirming both his mum and dad were on hand to get stuck in.

Clive can be seen donning a hard hat and luminous hi-vis jacket in the snaps while Amanda stopped for a selfie with her son in a separate photo.

Needless to say, it didn’t take long for Our Yorkshire Farm fans to flood the comments section with excitable messages at seeing the family back together.

“Can’t beat helping your parents,” one of Reuben’s fans typed followed by a love heart emoji while a second weighed in: “Good luck everyone! There’s bound to be problems but so worth it in the end x.”

Elsewhere, another showed their fondness for Clive and Amanda as they wrote: “Can’t wait to see Auntie Johns, love ya mum n dad.”

“What a great team, I just know it will be amazing when it’s done,” a fourth echoed. (sic)

Clive and Amanda’s split sent shockwaves through the Our Yorkshire Farm fandom but the pair have addressed the separation in the months since.

Clive, who is 21 years his ex’s senior, said on ITV’s Lorraine that he struggled with the success of the show, admitting he “handled it very badly”.

“It was such a change in our lives and I sadly made a right mess of things,” he said during the interview. “I had a massive part to play in our relationship ending. A massive part to play.

“When all this was going on, here I am ranting and raving and drinking and carrying on. We were all committed to this thing, but it seemed to eat away at me and I handled it badly.

“I behaved badly towards her because I should have been supportive, and I was doing the absolute opposite.”
