Masoor Dal soup recipe by chef Ranveer Brar

In a kadai, heat oil add onion and saute till translucent. Add garlic and saute till golden brown.

Add cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt to taste and mix well.

Add tomato paste, red chilli powder, masoor dal and saute well.

Add carrot, vegetable stock mix well, add 2 cup hot water.

Cover with the lid and cook for 30 minutes.

Blend the mixture, add lime juice, roasted cumin powder and mix well.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
