Two men breached security and entered the Super Bowl arena between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Both men made their way onto the pitch while the Chiefs were completing a third down attempt in the third quarter.
Two pitch attackers managed to break through the security cordon but one of them was stopped before reaching the pitch.
The other man made several attempts to escape, before he lost his footing and slipped before being caught by half a dozen security staff.
The streaker was pulled off the field
Both of them were stopped before they could get close to any of the players.
But Patrick Mahomes and other players were furious about the interruption of play.
The man who came onto the field was pulled away by seven security personnel and it appeared that something was written on his body.
This is not the first time that a Super Bowl game featuring the Chiefs has been disrupted by streakers.

He was immediately arrested for running into the playground and had to spend the whole night in jail.
But it proved to be a calculated move by the American model as she cashed in on her new-found fame.
His Instagram following grew rapidly and now has over one million followers.
the other man did not come on the field
Speaking to The New York Times after her stunt, Kay said: “Suddenly, I wasn’t just the hot girl or the girl running on the field.
“I was a hot Instagram influencer who hit the ground running and got worldwide attention.
“I saw an opportunity to take advantage of it, and I saw the power of masculinity.
