This is very, very sad.
And this is also very, very disturbing.
According to our friends at The Ashley, Jess Evans ran away from her grandmother’s house late last week… just over a month after she did the same while living with her mom Jenelle and her husband David Eason Was.

As you may recall, the 14-year-old was reported missing three times last summer/end, with the third and final time he reportedly escaped out a window before being discovered by local North Carolina authorities.
She told police at the time that Eason had assaulted her.
Eason was then arrested on child abuse charges.
Since then, Jace has been living with Janelle’s mother and Barbara Evans, the woman who raised him during his childhood.
Janelle has not spoken to her son since September 28.

However, a resident of the North Carolina town where Barbara lives emailed The Ashley on Saturday and said Jess had run away from home.
“The police have advised us to keep an eye out for him in the neighborhood,” this neighbor said in an email. “Apparently he’s been gone for about two days.”
Perhaps something as disturbing as Jace running away from home once again?
Eason shared a “Where’s Waldo” post a few days ago… while Jenelle uploaded a meme (below) with the caption “When the weapons arrayed against you are not succeeding,” along with , “Hell yes, if you only knew.”
In other words?
He responded to Jace’s disappearance by taunting Barbara and making light of the situation.

Police found Jess on Sunday, The Ashley reports.
A source says he was hurt by some of Jenelle’s recent social media posts, which include a staunch defense of Eason as well as some concern for her eldest child.
Too:
“Jace wasn’t able to take his proper medications when he was at Barbara’s, because Jenelle still had the power to deny him access to certain medications,” an insider tells The Ashley. Jace was chosen as a client because he did not want to deal with “the wrath of David and Janelle”.
Indeed, a recent Google review left by Eason accused a doctor of “trying to brainwash your child into thinking they have mental problems to keep coming back for medication.”

This is especially unfortunate and ironic because Jenelle has said on multiple occasions that Jess has “mental health” issues.
You would hope that if this were the case she would insist that she get professional help.
At this point, the most important thing – heck, the Only The important thing in the midst of such a chaotic and frustrating mess is Jace Evans’ future.
Ashley wrote that he will no longer live with his grandmother and that Child Protective Services has said he cannot move back into Janelle’s home.
We don’t know for sure where he is right now or where he will be long-term or short-term.
We can only hope and pray that he is okay.
