Kyle later attacked Natalya and questioned their friendship. In the morning, Kyle joined the crew on their day off, while Natalya packed her stuff and finished the day. Natalya meets with Captain Sandy before the next charter and tells him she is leaving Mustique.
“My stomach is in knots. My point is – in addition to the personal stuff going on in the house – there’s also something going on inside. In the crew mess, Kyle and Max were having a little fight in front of everyone. I tried to tell Kyle to calm down,” Natalya explained through tears. “I thought he was one of my best friends. There’s a lot of stuff in there.”
Stu said Kyle’s behavior was part of a bigger problem, adding, “I didn’t say anything [before] but i did jessica [Asai] “She was coming to me crying because Kyle had come in really hot that day and yelled at her in a cabin.”
Sandy was shocked to hear about what was happening. “I want to pursue it because it is serious. I’m going to talk to Kyle because this isn’t right. That’s bullying,” she said. “Of course I want you to stay but nothing is worth your mental health.”
When asked by the Captain what she wanted to do, Natalya remained firm in her decision to go.
“I feel the need to get off now because I am not feeling well. I feel safe but I don’t feel good,” Natalya admitted, despite previously apologizing to Kyle. “I’ve been feeling very sad lately.”
Sandy did not try to change Natalya’s mind because she wanted to put her team first. “I cannot and will not force Natalya to stop. I want her to feel supported in her decision but I’m also angry. Losing Natalya will be tough for Interior. For the next charter, we will be in trouble,” he said in the confessional. “I am not condoning Kyle’s behavior. The way he described everything, Kyle’s bullying is unacceptable.
During the shooting of Season 8, Kyle began to question whether his friendship with Natalya was real. They were previously at odds during Season 7 because Natalya felt she overworked Kyle. The pair attempted to make a fresh start after joining Mustique, but they soon began to fall apart.
After Natalya leaves the boat, Sandy calls Chef jack luby and main stew you mlongo To give his views on stress. Jack stood by Natalya and called out her co-workers for not supporting her enough. Meanwhile, Toumi agreed that Kyle’s behavior was not helping the internal work as a team.
Sandy later asks Kyle to sit with her for a conversation.
“Kyle, I have ears and I have eyes. Whatever situation has occurred on this boat, guess who the common denominator is? You have a screaming match with Max, you have a screaming match with Jess and you have a screaming match with Natalya,” she said at the end of the episode. “You’re the one who’s always having screaming matches.”
The way Sandy looked at Kyle changed the situation. “I will never bring you back. You can’t control your emotions. This is a professional setting. You are bullying and you are yelling. I don’t want someone like you on board,” she replied before the screen went black.
Viewers will have to wait until the next episode to find out whether Kyle will stay on the boat or not. However, before the episode aired, Natalya offered an update on where she stands with Kyle.
