Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said the Delhi government takes inspiration from ‘Ram Rajya’ by providing good education and health, pension for senior citizens and round-the-clock power supply and free water supply. The Delhi Chief Minister also spoke on the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony and said that it is a matter of ‘proud’ and happiness for everyone across the world.

Addressing the state-level Republic Day function at Chhatrasal Stadium, CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “The consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 was a matter of immense pride and joy for everyone across the world. Lord Ram never discriminated on the basis of caste and religion, but today our society is divided on those grounds.”

He further said that the Delhi government follows the inspiration of ‘Ram Rajya’ with a focus on good education, health for all.

Kejriwal also announced that many people have expressed their desire to visit Ayodhya ji. CM Kejriwal said, “We will try to take as many people as possible to Ayodhya ji.”

In an indirect attack on the Centre, Kejriwal said the goal of a $5 trillion economy is good only if its financial benefits reach all the poor people of the country. He said, “But if out of this Rs. 4 trillion remains with one or two people, the country will remain poor.”

“Over the last 75 years, the rich have become richer and the poor have become poorer. Reducing inflation is part of the ‘Ram Rajya’ concept adopted by us. According to the report of the Central Government, there has been minimum price increase in Delhi. If people are suffering from inflation then we cannot say that it is Ram Rajya.”

Kejriwal also said the Delhi government also focuses on women’s safety in the national capital, adding that the AAP makes efforts on this issue even though the Delhi Police does not come under their control.
